Chalk up another unique Milwaukee event designed especially for families! This city really never ceases to amaze me.
Doors Open Milwaukee, organized by Historic Milwaukee, Inc. is being held this Saturday, September 20th through Sunday, September 21st. The event opens the doors of over one hundred historic buildings, free of charge, including churches, museums, hotels, businesses and universities.
This year, they are continuing their Family Passport Program, and it seems even better organized than in years past. They've chosen 24 sites that are especially fun for families with children. Before exploring the unique Milwaukee venues, kids cany pick up a free passport book and have it stamped at each site. Locations include Havenwoods State Forest, Milwaukee fire stations, the Safe House and Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
So, where will you be exploring?
