Classes are taught by UEC Forester Caitlin Reinartz and take place at Riverside Park on Wednesdays evenings starting March 9. The first session takes place totally indoors; all sessions after that start indoors and then move out into the park to see each species of tree in real life! 

Participants should dress to be outside and be prepared to stand and walk over varying terrain for most of each two-hour session. 

The price is for all 8 sessions. 

March 9: Basics of Identifying Trees Without Leaves
March 16: The Oaks 
March 23: The Maples and Ashes 
March 30: The Elms, The Birch Family 
April 6: Walnuts, Hickories, Beech, and Sycamore 
April 13: The Rose Family, The Aspens/Poplars 
April 20: Basswood, Hackberry, Witchhazel, The Legume Family 
April 27: Common Non-Native Trees.
