Beer gardens are a tradition brought to Wisconsin by German brewers in the 1850’s – they’re outdoor areas where beer and food are served, typically at shared tables shaded by trees.
The Traveling Beer Garden tours transform parks into temporary beer gardens for two weeks at a time. Two restored fire trucks, converted into a mobile beer trucks, serving up craft beers and more.
Two simultaneously running tours travel to different parks between May and September. Find one at the dates and locations below.

Who runs the Traveling Beer Gardens?
The Traveling Beer Gardens are managed by Milwaukee County Parks in partnership with Sprecher Brewery. Revenue from the beer gardens goes back into improving the parks.
