Witness a Total Lunar Eclipse on the evening of Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the UWM Manfred Olson Planetarium. Telescopes and binoculars will be set up near Engelmann field for visitors to view this incredible phenomenon of the Moon passing behind Earth’s shadow. Telescopes and binoculars will be available starting at 10 p.m., with the full eclipse occurring at 11:11 p.m. We will also offer free planetarium shows every 15-20 minutes.

Not recommended for children under 4. For questions about this event, please email planetarium@uwm.edu.

Due to the confined space of the planetarium, we strongly recommend that our visitors wear masks when visiting the planetarium, regardless of vaccination status.
