There are over 500 species of bees in Wisconsin! Did you know that most of those bees don’t make honey or live in hives? Join Naturalist Emily Leonard for a fun afternoon of hiking and bee spotting. Discover some of the common types of bees found at Schlitz Audubon as you identify them up-close. After our hike, we will learn about what makes these little pollinators so important, how they communicate, and how you can help create pollinator habitat in your own yard.
This program is designed for children aged 5 and older. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
This program will take place entirely outdoors. Please read our current mask policy before participation.
Members: $10 per person | Non-members: $15 per person
