Bikes! Stop by the Washington Park Urban Ecology Center for an opportunity to learn the basics of Biking. We’ll host three stations of activities including: A guided ride through Washington Park and a bike maintenance basics demonstration station. Dress for the weather, pack a snack, and bring your family/friends for this unique opportunity to connect with people and nature in the city!

Urban Ecology Center will provide all gear necessary to participants who wish to try biking. Bikes are sized by height – our fleet is designed to outfit individuals 4ft 11 inches to 6ft 4 inches tall. Helmets size small to extra large are also provided for program purposes. Some Bike trailers for transporting kids under age 6 will also be available for public use. Sorry- the UEC does not have bikes for participants ages 12 or under. All children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
