January 12, 2024 from 10:30 am – 11:30 am at North Shore Library 6800 N Port Washington Rd, Glendale WI

Join KIC and the North Shore Library for a Social Justice Story Time with Rona Wolfe, a kindergarten teacher experienced in discussing big ideas. Through stories, our kids will meet Martin Luther King Jr. They will be empowered to understand and celebrate our differences while recognizing the similarities and connections we all share. Rona will lead kid-friendly discussions about race and racial justice and address how kids can take big actions in small ways. Towards the end of our story time, we will engage the kids in a special on-the-spot service project craft. The agenda will look like: Listen to three books / Movement break / Thoughtful kid-friendly discussion / On-the-Spot Service project craft.

Please note: Dates and times are subject to change, and occasionally events may be cancelled. Please check the event website to confirm the latest details: (It’s Time To Lend A Helping Hand MKE!)
