Incredible Insects and Friends
Saturday, June 10, 2023 | 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
Do you love hunting for bugs? Join Family Programs Manager Cassie Rincon and explore the insects and invertebrate relatives that might be hiding at Schlitz Audubon! After learning what makes insects unique and important, we’ll meet some of our invertebrate ambassadors. Then we’ll hit the trails to flip logs in the forest, scoop with strainers in the pond, and sweep nets in the prairie in search of these crawling critters. This program is designed for children aged 5 and older; children must be accompanied by an adult. This program will take place entirely outdoors.
