Hop Summer Nights returns to Milwaukee’s streetcar this Sunday! From 4 to 6 pm, riders of The Hop can cool down with free refreshing “hopsicles” from Pete’s Pops and listen to live cool jazz from local pianist JL Russell and his Smoothwalk jazz trio.
The fun starts from The Hop’s Intermodal Station (4 pm departure), and participating is as simple as hopping on board.
NOTE: While there are two streetcars in service on Sunday, only one will be hosting Hop Summer Nights. To locate the correct streetcar, riders are encouraged to download the Transloc real-time app by visiting thehopmke.com/real-time-app. Look for an alert in the app notifying riders which streetcar features the free popsicles and jazz, and then use the real-time position of the car to hop on board. Riders can also be on the lookout for Hop Summer Nights decals in the windows of the featured streetcar.
