Join Kids Impact Community to help Groundwork Milwaukee prepare their gardens at the urban farm “hoop houses” in Glendale! Volunteers will cultivate, plant, water, and harvest fresh produce such as tomatoes, zucchini, beans, and kale that will be provided to shoppers at Kinship Community Food Center. Groundwork Milwaukee collaborates with Kinship Community Food Center to provide food systems in the Milwaukee area. There are currently 11 “hoop houses” ready to provide fresh local food to those in need! More information here.
