Build a beach and then let your oil rig spew oil! Can you clean up the mess? Learn about how an oil spill harms plants, animals and your beach and why it is so hard to clean up. Join an MSOE Professor to learn about chemistry and the environment specific to oil spill! This opportunity is for 2nd – 5th grade students.
There is seating available throughout the Center for parents who wish to stay at the We Energies STEM Center while the program is running. Parents are welcome to drop off their students as well, and more information on check-in, parking, and event details will be sent a few days ahead of the event.
