Bastille Days (Free!)

Marked by the signature 43-foot Eiffel Tower replica and hourly light shows, Milwaukee hosts one of the nation’s largest French-themed celebrations each July. The international marketplace comes alive with the sizzling sights and smells of French and Cajun cuisine. The event is known for the impromptu street performers, roaming minstrels, and a variety of interactive and musical entertainment.
Pro Tip #1: Kids’ and Family Day is usually Saturday, offering kid-friendly performances, soccer and dance lessons, cooking demonstrations, and more.
Pro Tip #2: Park near a Hop station and hitch a free ride on Milwaukee’s streetcar. It stops right in the middle of the festival grounds!
